Cleanse
Take the day off without taking the barrier with it. A gel in the morning, a balm at night if you wore sunscreen.
02 · Step two
Treat
One active at a time, at a concentration we print. Vitamin C in the morning or a retinoid at night — rarely both at once.
03 · Step three
Hydrate
Water held where it is useful. Humectant on damp skin, then something occlusive to keep it there.

Protect
Two fingers’ length, every morning. The single most effective thing in this entire shop, and the least exciting.

L-Ascorbic acid
The most studied form of vitamin C. Unstable in water, which is why the bottle also carries ferulic acid and vitamin E — and why it is in amber glass.

Retinaldehyde
One conversion step from retinoic acid, where retinol needs two. Lower dose, comparable result, shorter adjustment. Encapsulated so it arrives where it is needed.
3:1:1
Ceramide ratio
Ceramides NP, AP and EOP in the proportion found in healthy skin, with cholesterol and fatty acids. The ratio is the point; the percentage is not.
